Epic Storm

In a September post about continuing calamities I talked about a storm hitting the USA like the "fist of God". That happened today with what is being called an "epic storm" which hit the Alaska coast today. Fortunately it hit an area that was not highly populated so it didn't cause many deaths that they know about at this time. But it was no doubt the storm the Lord said would hit this nation. Will there be another one? Possibly, but only the Lord knows for sure.

Persecution

There was an article in the news today about a Christian schoolteacher in New Jersey who is being investigated by the school board because she posted on her Facebook page that she believes homosexuality is a sin. Naturally, all the homosexual, lesbian and transgender groups (I refuse to call them "gay" because there is nothing gay about their abominations), as well as the "politically correct" groups are criticizing her and condemning her because of her "hateful" views and claiming that she is not fit to teach children because of her thoughts on the subject. How far this nation has fallen. What a cesspool we have become.

But she is being persecuted by the public as opposed to by the churches. Many of the churches will cry out in indignation because this woman is being persecuted because of her religious beliefs, and well they should speak up in her defense. But these same churches will persecute many Christians in the near future when the true Christians speak up and tell the churches what cesspools they have become. The religious people will hate us when we tell them that they themselves have brought judgment upon the nation and upon themselves because they have turned away from the teachings of Christ and instead turned to the gospel of man. A gospel that teaches many nice stories about the Bible, that teaches the history of the Bible, the timeframe of the Bible, but ignores how God's word is a living word that He uses to accomplish that which He pleases and purposes. It is a living word that He uses to speak to us individually to instruct us, to guide us, to correct us, to give us hope, to help prepare us for what He is about to do. The Bible is not just about history lessons to be learned nor is it a dead word, but it is alive and living, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the bone and marrow. How many times have you been in a church where there was actually an anointing on the word being taught?

The churches also teach a gospel that lifts up mammon, telling us that we can have everything that our hearts desire. That God is a good God who just wants to bless us. That He is a loving Father who only wants to make us happy, just like Santa Claus. They don't teach about taking up our cross daily and carrying it. They don't teach about Paul's testimony that he was hungry, homeless, thirsty, in rags, poorly treated and in chains. They don't teach that the first thing God said about Paul was "I will show him how much he must suffer for the kingdom of Heaven". They don't teach about how Jesus said "He that does not give up everything he has cannot be My disciple".

Ør, like Robert Jeffress, the pastor of First Baptist Church of Dallas, the church that I wrote about in a previous message "Taking a Stand", May 20, 2010, who condemns anyone who thinks differently than he does when he judged Mitch Romney to not be a Christian because he is part of a "cult". He doesn't understand that he is not this man's judge. Micah 6:8 states "What does God require of you man other than that you love justice, do kindness and walk humbly before the Lord your God." Now I don't know if Mitch Romney loves justice, does kindness and walks humbly before the Lord, and I can assure you that Robert Jeffress doesn't either. But I certainly cannot say that Romney is not a Christian because the Lord has not shown me his heart or anything about him. God does not condemn Romney because he is a part of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. God is concerned about Romney's heart. Robert Jeffress has made his heart known to all, and it is not good. There are many, many churches that believe that anyone different than them is going to hell. Do you think they will not persecute us when we speak the truth to them?

Then we have churches who are actively recruiting homosexuals and lesbians for not only membership, but also ordaining them into the ministry. Do you think they are not going to persecute us when we tell them in the years to come that they are part of the reason that God's wrath is being poured out upon this nation, because of their abominations?

What about 99% of the black churches who supported Obama simply because he was black, even though they knew that he was for abortion and for homosexuality? Do you think that they will not persecute us when we speak the truth to them about their foolishness when Obama surrenders this nation to the Russians before the end of his first and only term in office and they are once again forced into slavery? Do you think they will love us?

What about the "faith" churches who have been teaching their flocks lies about naming and claiming it, about believing it is their faith which causes things to happen, not God's power. Do you think they will not persecute us when we speak the truth to them while they are losing their wealth, their homes, their health, their jobs, their food? Do you think they will listen to us?

Just as Jesus and His apostles were persecuted by their own people, so also shall we be. Will God protect us during those times? Some He will, some He won't. Some will be put in prison, some sawn in two, some tortured - he that endures to the end will be saved.

Elenin

For at least a year people have been sending me information on Elenin, the asteroid that is no bigger than a school bus that is supposed to cause all sorts of terrible things to happen in a few weeks once it is aligned with certain planets. My brothers and sisters, this is all utter nonsense, just like the Y2K scare eleven years ago. You can find charts all over the internet "proving" that Elenin, which will not even come near our moon, much less our planet, is going to wreak every kind of havoc imaginable on our planet. Supposedly the U.S. government knows all about it and is involved in a secret conspiracy to hide all this information from becoming public. AAARRRGGGHHH!!!!! I can't stand any more of this foolishness!!

Elenin, Planet X, Niburu and all the other "secret" planetary blobs are not going to cause anything to happen to this planet. Anyone can get on You Tube and claim anything they want to and people will believe them. Remember the swine flu virus that was going to kill millions because the Illuminati and the New World Order wanted to destroy one-third of the world's population? Did it happen? No. Remember the swine flu shots were supposed to contain nanobots that would be injected into your bloodstream and enable the government to control your mind as well as track you everywhere you went and listen in on all your conversations? Remember the death trains that were supposed to carry you to the "secret" FEMA death camps where the U.S. government had secretly stored millions of guillotines that they were going to use to behead you? There was even a woman on You Tube dressed up in Army fatigues who claimed that the Army was secretly training troops to arrest those who refused the swine flu shots and force them onto the "death trains". Remember that jackass. Vincent Xavier, who claimed that God revealed to him that a nuclear bomb would be set off in Washington, D.C. last October but wouldn't be realized until November - and people were gullible enough to believe that kind of idiocy!

Enough of this foolishness! Enough of this nonsense! It's time most of you stayed off your computers 99% of the time and used your time for something worthwhile like prayer, reading the bible, reaching out to those who are hurting and in need, ministering to the lost, etc. Stay off of those stupid, supposedly "Christian" forums which are filled with nothing but absolute nonsense. I haven't found even one of those forums that I would want to participate in, not one. Instead of looking for answers on those abominable forums, look to your bibles for answers. All you are doing on those sites is wasting your time, and I am dead serious about that.

Please do not send me any more information on Elenin, Planet X, Niburu, the Illuminati, the New World Order or any of that stuff. It is all utter foolishness. If you want to believe it then that is your business. But I know that none of it has any validity at all.

Continuing Catastrophes

In a message last year I spoke about how we would see catastrophe after catastrophe hit this nation. Then in July I wrote about how those things have been coming to pass and that they will only get worse. Then Hurricane Irene hit and we are now finding out that FEMA is almost out of emergency relief funds because they have spent the highest amount in their history for catastrophes that have occurred this year, and there are still four months left in 2011.

These "natural" disasters are going to get worse and worse. God has had enough of the wickedness in the USA and nothing will stop His judgment upon this land.

Let me correct something that I had written in this message originally. The Lord told me that there would be another hurricane that hit the U.S. "like the fist of God". However, He did not say that it would happen this year. I assumed that it would because we were in the middle of the hurricane season and it seemed likely that it would happen soon, but that was not something the Lord told me, that was my own incorrect assumption. It still could happen this year, but more than likely it will occur next year.

These "natural" disasters are going to get worse and worse. I believe that we are going to see another major hurricane hit this nation this year, probably in the next few weeks. This hurricane will slam into this country like the fist of God and will be much worse than Irene, and I don't believe that we will be prepared for it.

Next I believe that major earthquakes will begin to shake this nation to its very core. The one that hit the east coast a few weeks ago was nothing compared to what is coming. God has had enough of the wickedness in the USA and nothing will stop His judgment upon this land.

On another subject, last year I warned about the Gulf of Mexico exploding and causing horrific damage. When it didn't happen then I thought that my warning may have been premature, but that it would still happen, and it still might because I certainly don't understand God's timing or His ways. However, that was the only one of my messages that I have allowed anyone to influence me on, and that person's influence might not have been of the Lord. If I missed the Lord on that message then I repent and apologize to all of you. This I can assure you of that no one except the Lord will ever be allowed to have any influence on any of my messages in the future. I remember how I agonized for days over that warning before I wrote it, but I felt that if it were true then I needed to warn the people. The Gulf still may explode, but at this point I can honestly say that I don't know.

The Blessings of Suffering

Yes, the title is correct, this message is about the blessings we get from the suffering we go through. No one wants to hurt, no one wants to feel pain, but it is something that many times God uses to bless us. His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. God's blessings many times mean that we go through suffering so that we can be a blessing to others.

I remember the story from a number of years ago about a leader in the Southern Baptist Convention who's son developed AIDS from a blood transfusion. He immediately became a pariah in the Baptist Church - he was suddenly an outcast. People then didn't know as much about AIDS as we know today and they treated this man and his family as lepers. They were rejected and despised. They suffered horribly. But because of what they went through they are much better equipped to minister to others whom the churches have rejected and despised for numerous reasons. They understand the pain of others in ways much more intimately than they ever could have before. In God's way of thinking the pain they went through was a blessing because now they can better help others - their reward in Heaven will be great.

In my last message "Comforting the Grieving" I spoke about the pain I went through losing my little sister to cancer. I also talked about how now I can minister to others who are suffering from the loss of a loved one, something I could never have done before. In God's way of thinking the pain I went through was a blessing so that I was equipped to comfort others.

The rejection and abuse the churches have heaped upon me in the past 28 years has wounded me deeply, but it has enabled me to reach out to others and empathize with them when they have become disillusioned with, hurt, abused and rejected by churches. They saw the emptiness and lack of love in these churches, they saw people who were focused on everything but loving and helping their neighbor. Because of what I have been through I understand their pain and can help to comfort them, encourage them and build them back up - to show them the love and compassion of the Lord.

Back in 1988 I was at a church retreat in Prescott, AZ and during that weekend I asked a couple of the pastors to pray for me. I remember one of them praying "Lord, I pray that you will give Cliff a new heart to replace this severely wounded one of his". I told him "No, Jim, I don't want a new heart. I want some of these wounds healed, but not all of them because that way I will be more sensitive to the wounds in others." I don't really think I knew what I was saying then, I believe it was the Holy Spirit speaking through me - but it was for the greater good, so I could better minister to others because my heart would be very sensitive to their pain.

Believe me, I am no glutton for pain nor am I a masochist. I don't like suffering any more than anyone else. But when I look back upon what I have been through I can now see why God ordained that those things happened that way. Yes, He ordained that I go through all that, and many times He was the one sticking a knife in my heart. You don't believe that? Then you haven't read the Bible. Job 5:18 - For He inflicts pain and He gives relief; He wounds and He heals. Isa 30:26 - .. when the Lord binds up the bruises of His people and heals the wounds He inflicted. Most people see where it says that He heals but they totally miss the part that says that He wounds. The sons of God know that He wounds, children don't.

Our knowledge of God and His ways is comparable to a grain of sand in all the oceans of the universe, we know virtually nothing about Him and His thoughts and ways. The pain we go through that we think is from the evil one may very well be from God to bless us in the way He views blessings. We do not grow spiritually except by suffering nor do we mature as Christians unless we go through intense afflictions.

Romans 8:18 - "I do not consider that the suffering of the present is worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us". The glory can mean the love, compassion and mercy of the Lord that will flow through us to others because of the suffering we have been through. It can also mean the spiritual maturity that will result from our afflictions.

Now, lest you think I am a saint who praises God every time He wounds me, let me me very open and honest with you. There have been literally thousands times I have screamed and yelled at God in the last 28 years, times that I have complained bitterly, times that I have hated Him, despised Him because of the horrible suffering He was sending upon me. He was testing and trying me in the fires of afflictions. The pressure He was putting me under was absolutely horrific. Most "Christians" judged and condemned me for hurting and feeling angry at God. But as a 22-year old guy told me in 1986 "He is a big God and He can handle your emotions". So when I see people who are wounded, hurting and angry at God (the anger comes from the pain of the wounds that God has inflicted upon them) I simply comfort them, show them the love and compassion that so-called "Christians" won't. I let them know that God can handle their emotions and that He is not going to condemn them because of how they react to pain that He is inflicting upon them.

How do you get and refine gold? You pulverize a piece of rock then sift the gold out of it. You put the gold over intense heat for a long, long time until all the impurities are burned off. How is a diamond made? It is a lump of coal that is put under enormous pressure for eons and eons. The more pressure it is under and the longer the time, the purer the diamond. So also it is with us - the hotter the fire, the greater the pressure, the purer we will be. Yes, pain can be a blessing when we are able to see it from God's eyes.

I tend to personalize many of my writings with the experiences that I have been through. I have no doubt that the Lord wants it that way so that people can intimately relate to the intense feelings that I sometimes convey, feelings and experiences that they themselves may have had and not understood, and been judged and condemned by others because of those emotions. The Lord put me through those trying times so that I could use them to help others better understand why they may be going through great suffering, as well as, of course, to humble me, to mature me and prepare me for His service.

Comforting the Grieving

As God's judgment continues to be poured out upon this nation it is going to get worse and worse - many will be killed in the catastrophes that are going to hit our land. Many families are going to lose loved ones - husbands, wives, children, parents, brothers, sisters and friends. The Lord will call many of us to reach out to those who have lost a family member and we need to know how to help them. But this message is also for the present time, for those who are going through grieving now or know someone who is. I am not a psychologist, and what I share with you is from my own personal experiences, how I learned to help those who are grieving.

When I lived in Tyler, TX I was a remodeling contractor and did much of my work through realtors. Many of them I grew close to as dear friends, some of them I loved as sisters that I never had growing up. One of those was Pam who I kind of adopted as my little sister. The Lord bonded our hearts together and I loved Pam very, very dearly - she was my little sis. I knew her for about a year when she was suddenly diagnosed with stomach cancer. Pam fought the cancer bravely and with every ounce of her strength for a year, but it killed her in October, 1998.

I have never known such pain, I was devastated. I cried several times a day for many, many months afterwards. I didn't know that such a darkness and emptiness existed. It was the darkest period of my life. What made it even worse was that God forced me to go through it all by myself, He would not allow ANYONE to reach out to me, to comfort me, to be there for me. Instead, I had to be there to help others who were also devastated by Pam's death. God made me go through the depth and darkness of grieving all alone, there was no one there to comfort me, no one. And I grieved to depths that I didn't know were possible, I didn't know such pain existed. But what I learned from this was how to give to others who are grieving what I needed but was not allowed to have. I knew how badly I needed someone to be there for me and with me, I felt the pain so deeply in my heart. What I didn't get I now give to others because I know how desperately they need it.

About eight months after Pam's death I volunteered at the Hospice of East Texas Homeplace, an inpatient facility for the terminally ill. I was there almost every Saturday and Sunday for almost a year helping the nurses, the patients and their families. I saw much pain, much grief while I was there, the same kind of pain that I had been through, and I was able to offer some little bits of comfort to a few of the people.

The things that help people who are grieving are simple things like hugs, a shoulder to cry on, someone to just be there with them and let them know you hurt for them. Never tell them you know how they feel, because you don't. I could tell them that I understand the pain, and when they looked in my eyes they knew that I did because they saw in my eyes that I had been through intense grief myself and that I could empathize with them.

There are other things you can do such as bringing them flowers, having them over for dinner (inviting then into your home is much better than inviting them out to a restaurant for dinner because most of them do not want to go into public places soon after the death of a loved one, they want privacy as opposed to being in public), going to visit them at their home, calling them to let them know you care and sending them sympathy cards and letters. Don't try to cheer them up because they cannot be cheered up at this time - just be there for them. But don't expect anything from them because they are emotionally incapable of giving it. Just let them grieve, let them cry, let them be angry at God (He's a big God and can handle their feelings and their anger. He's not going to be angry at them for it).

Telling them trite little phrases like "God needed them more than you do", or "they are with the Lord now", or "God called them home because......" are usually not comforting. Never tell them that grieving lasts for such and such a time and then you get better, because that is a lie. It also puts pressure on them to "get through" the grieving process in a specified period of time. Each and every person grieves in their own way for their own period of time, there are no rules for this, no set times. It has been thirteen years since Pam died and there are still times that I cry for her. Yes, the memories of her are precious to me and most of them are happy because she was such a joy to be around, but I would be lying if I said that the grief is gone, because it has never completely left me. So don't expect people to grieve for a specific period of time (like some books say) and then "get over it". Don't expect anything at all from them.

Yes, ministering to the grief-stricken is a very difficult thing, it hurts to see someone in so much pain, it brings back pain from your own losses. But being vulnerable and letting those who are grieving see that we ourselves have suffered loss and that we still hurt from it lets them know that what they are feeling is okay, that it is normal for what they have been through. It lets them know that they are not alone and that they are not going crazy, that others have been through similar pain and have survived through it. The pain that I still feel from losing Pam is obvious in this message. But in order to help others we have to be transparent, we have to leave ourselves open and vulnerable. That's the way Jesus was, open and vulnerable. Two of the most important words in the Bible are "Jesus wept".

As I write this I realize that this message will offer some degree of comfort to some of those who are reading it because they have lost loved ones and have had difficulty "living up" to how they were supposed to "heal" after a few months and "get on with their lives". If this has helped you then I feel that I have done something worthwhile in sharing what I have been through.

If there are any hospice professionals who read this and have more insight into this than I do, I would welcome your comments because this is to help others in their time of need.

There Will Be No Recovery

In June I posted a message about coming out of the eye of the storm. Now, two months later, we are seeing how the winds are coming from the opposite direction and how they are beginning to destroy our nation. We are so far in debt that it will be impossible to get out and all our fool-in-chief wants to do is tax and spend, tax and spend, tax and spend - we will not recover from this.

The severe drought has spread to many states and that is going to raise the cost of food, gasoline (ethanol is mixed in gasoline and it is made from corn), clothing (which is made from cotton - much of our cotton crop will fail this year), water (because the reservoirs are drying up), and many other items. Inflation is beginning to rise and will continue to do so until we reach a state of hyperinflation.

Consumer confidence is low and people are not buying as much because they are worried about money and their jobs. Since they are not buying as much as they used to the supply side of the market is not producing as much - fewer jobs are created. Unemployment is "officially" at 9.1%, but that doesn't include the millions who have dropped completely out of the job market because they couldn't find jobs.

The people of this nation continue to believe in an imaginary money tree, thinking that the good times and the "free entitlements" will never end - how badly mistaken they are. When 48% of the people pay not one cent in federal income taxes yet demand more in the way of "entitlements" and services, demanding that "the rich" pay more in taxes, this nation has truly lost its way. We are headed for great civil unrest when there is no more money for "entitlements" because the country has gone bankrupt. Our liar-in-chief and his cronies are doing everything they can to promote class hatred and class warfare.

These days are not somewhere in the future, they have already begun and will only get worse. God has declared that His judgment will destroy this once-great nation, and it will. We are only beginning to see how this country will financially collapse because of the fiscal irresponsibility of our government that has been building for many, many years. Also, we are just beginning to see the great, God-caused, "natural" catastrophes that will be a big part of the destruction of this country - and they will only get worse.

This was a very, very difficult message for me to write, I did not want to do it. My heart is very heavy and there is great sadness within me. But I know that God put it upon my heart so I have no choice but to write it. I wish I could say "God bless America", but I can't - we have too far gone down the path of unrighteousness.

Done In Darkness

"That which is done in darkness shall be brought to light".

Most people associate that verse with evil deeds done in darkness which will, in God's timing, be brought to light - and this is one meaning of this verse. However, the Lord showed me another, positive meaning for this verse. Remember, it is God's word which He uses to accomplish what He pleases and purposes.

There are many of you who are fervent prayer warriors, your work is done in the darkness of your prayer closets and few ever know what you are doing. Few ever recognize you for the spiritual battles that you are doing in secret. Few ever know how much you have accomplished for others by your fervent prayers. Few ever see what you are doing. But God does.

In due time what you have accomplished in your prayer closets will be brought to light and your rewards in heaven will be great. The Lord Himself will greatly honor you for what you have done. So, my brothers and sisters, continue the mighty work you are now doing in secret, for one day your wonderful deeds will be brought to light. For those who fervently pray for me, I thank you very much.

Judgment Continues

Thus far in 2011 we have seen catastrophic tornadoes, catastrophic floods and catastrophic wildfires. Now we have an extreme drought in fourteen southern and southwestern states that will be a catastrophic event as well. In today's news this weather event was said to be leading to another Dust Bowl like the one in the 30s. The weather forecasters blame it on a La Nina weather pattern, they have no idea that it is part of God's judgment upon this nation. This drought is similar to the one in the 30s that hammered an already weakened nation. We recovered from that, but we will not recover from this.

The latest news regarding this drought is quite alarming because it means that crops are not growing which means food shortages and higher food prices on the horizon. Also caused by the drought are shortages of hay used to feed cattle and corn used to feed pigs, as well as water for these herds, which means that ranchers will be forced to sell their herds because they cannot afford to feed and water them. That will mean temporarily lower meat prices, but only for a very short time, then prices will skyrocket. Chicken feed will become more expensive thus raising the prices of chickens and eggs. Cotton crops are being devastated which means higher prices for clothing and other cotton products.

On the other side of the nation the effects of the extremely heavy snowfall this past winter in Montana, Wyoming and Idaho are still causing problems in those states because of the great amount of water still coming from the snowmelt in the mountains. The damage from the recent floods up there was great, but the effects are still lingering. The rivers are still high which means that fishing up there is almost non-existant and raft tours are virtually impossible. Business up there in these areas is dramatically off because of the lack of tourists who usually flock to those states for summer vacation fishing and rafting. More businesses will close, more people will lose their jobs and eventually their homes. More people will be in need of social services which will add to the already great economic problems of our nation. This nation will not recover.

These things are simply more of God's judgment upon this wicked and perverse nation - and His judgment will only get worse. You must continue to press into the Lord for wisdom and guidance in what are becoming very perilous times.

Coincidence?

Last year the Obamination declared June as "Gay Pride Month". This year June was one of the worst months in our nation's history for wildfires. Coincidence? I think not. Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by fire also.

Lessons From Job

What did Job do to cause all those problems to come upon him? Who sent all those troubles upon Job, and why? Did Job's "friends" seek to comfort him?

Much has been written and preached about why all those terrible things happened to Job - 99% of those teachings accusing Job of some sin that caused God to punish him so horribly. So I ask "What did Job do to warrant all his suffering"? Let's look at what the Bible says regarding this.

Job 1:1 -  There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and turned away from evil. Hmmm, well that certainly doesn't tell us what a horrible person Job was.

Job 1:8 - And Jehovah said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job? for there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and turneth away from evil. Hmmm, even God didn't find anything wrong with Job, did He? Yet, most of the "wise" teachers and pastors in today's churches can find something to accuse Job of, even though God didn't. Who do you think is right, God or the "wise men" of today.

Let me ask you another question. Was it satan who brought up the subject of Job or was it God? Look at Job 1:8 - "And Jehovah said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job? for there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and turneth away from evil." It was obviously God who brought up the subject of Job to satan. Why? Only God knows? God could find nothing to accuse Job of and neither could satan. What kind of game was God playing with satan? Why did God bring up Job? There are no answers to these questions because only God knows.

After many terrible things came upon Job, then we have this happening. Job 2:3 - "And Jehovah said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job? for there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and turneth away from evil: and he still holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause". Even through all this Job knew that he had done nothing to cause all this. Then God Himself told satan that he, satan, had moved God against Job to destroy him without cause. In other words, it was God who sent all the troubles upon Job. You don't believe that? Then look at Job 42:11 - "Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him concerning all the evil that Jehovah had brought upon him". That says it pretty clearly that it was God who sent all the evil upon Job.

When Job was going through all his suffering what did his "friends" do to comfort him? They were sitting there with Job until job opened his mouth to pour out his pain. Once he was foolish enough to open his heart and tell his "friends" about his pain and how badly he was hurting, that was when they decided to show him how much they loved him and how wise they were. No doubt they thought they were "helping" him. That was when they began to dump upon him and accuse him of everything under the sun. They were so wise that they knew that God would not send all this suffering upon Job unless he had done something to deserve it. They waited until Job was vulnerable and in great pain to tell him what a horrible person he was and about all the terrible sins he had committed. They waited until he was in a weakened condition to try and stick knives in his heart. They were like the "wise" ones of today who will say "Speaking the truth in love, brother...." When someone tells you that, run away from them as fast and as far as you can.

Sounds just like the "Christians" of today, doesn't it? When things are going fine, when you're happy, successful and doing well, then all your "Christian friends" want to be around you and tell you how wonderful you are, how great God is. But woe unto you when you are feeling down and hurting and are foolish enough to open your heart and let these same people know you are in pain. They will then take that opportunity to tell you all the things that God is punishing you for, how He is dealing with you about some sin in your life, how you missed God along the way and have gone off His path. The one thing they will not do is love and comfort you, just like Jobs "friends" didn't.

I know this from hundreds of personal experiences over the past 29 years when my "Christian friends" have done exactly the same things to me. I know it from others whom I have had to love, comfort, encourage and build up after the religious people did the same things to them. I have seen these very things in many, many churches over the years. I have seen people come into the church wounded and hurting and the "wonderful, wise Christians" in the churches either avoid them or want to sit down with then and "counsel" them what they did wrong to cause God to send this pain upon them. Or they tell them that they should not come to church expecting or hoping for their needs to be met. I have seen many people leave the churches because they went there looking for love and comfort and found none.

When I lived in Tyler, Tx a few years ago I had a neighbor who had lost her 35 year old son to a brain aneurysm unexpectedly. He was alive one minute, then dead the next. Poor Barbara was devastated, torn to pieces, her heart shattered. Four years later she was still in great pain, which is normal in a situation where a parent has lost a child. She was talking to a "spirit-filled Christian friend" of her's and telling that "friend" that she was still mad at God about Him taking her son from her. This "wonderful. wise, spirit-filled Christian friend" then told her "Well Barbara, maybe God is dealing with you about something". How wise! How loving! How comforting! How Christian. This stupid jackass named Juanita might as well as have taken a knife and stuck it into Barbara's heart!! Barbara learned a hard and bitter lesson not to open up her heart to "Christian friends" again. I was the only person she knew she could tell this story to and how much it angered and hurt her. Personally, I wanted to go slap the hell out of Juanita and tell her what a fool she was. Instead I hugged Barbara and let her know that her feelings were okay and that she didn't need to feel guilty about them, that He is a big God and can handle our emotions.

What lessons do we need to learn from all this? When someone is going through hard times, whether it be emotionally, spiritually or financially, we are not to try and understand God's reasons for it because we can't. "For His ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. As far as the sun is from the moon are His ways higher than our ways and His thoughts higher than our thoughts." We are not to criticize them, judge them or condemn them. We are to comfort, encourage and build them up. We are to love them.

Yes, there are times when people are in obvious sin and the Bible tells us how to handle that. But most of the time we will not know what God is doing with someone, why He is putting them through such misery. He tests us and tries us in the fires of affliction. But it is not for us to judge in these situations, it is only our responsibility to love them, to comfort them, to encourage them, and to build them up.

Next we see Job arguing with God and daring Him to tell him what he did wrong to cause all the horrible suffering God sent upon him. What was God's response to Job? Basically He told Job "Job, I am God, I created the world, I created you. Who are you to question Me?" Then Job repented of questioning God, admitting that he did not understand Him. Then God rebuked Job's "friends".

Yes, we see at the end of Job that God restored him and gave him more children and possessions. But you need to know this, when a parent loses a child, or in Job's case ten children, it doesn't matter how many more children God gives you, the pain of losing those other children never, ever, ever goes away. That pain remains with you the rest of your lives.

Coming Out Of The Eye Of The Storm

With last week's dismal stock market downturn, the pathetic numbers of new jobs created causing the unemployment rate to jump up to 9.1%, the housing market in steep decline and other factors which show people losing confidence in what the Obama administration calls the "economic recovery", I feel that we are now coming out of the eye of the storm that we have been sitting in for some time now - http://watchman2009.blogspot.com/2010/10/still-in-eye-of-storm.html.

Now the class 5 hurricane force winds will come from the other direction and completely destroy the economy of this nation. What that means exactly I do not know except that we will see hyperinflation in ways that we never expected and a depression much worse than the Great Depression. How do you prepare for this? Pray, pray, pray and pray some more asking the Lord what He wants you specifically to do. There is no blanket answer regarding this, it is as the Lord wills for each person, each family.

Last year I wrote a message which was titled Catastrophe Upon Catastrophe in which I stated that judgment had already begun and was going to get worse and worse. It started off with deadly weather events and mass killings. This year the weather events have gotten much deadlier and much more destructive. They will continue to get deadlier and more destructive as the year goes on. Little by little we are becoming a nation of refugees. Little by little our farmlands and crops are being destroyed by great floods and tornadic winds, by severe droughts in many areas of the nation as well as huge wildfires in several states. Little by little all these things are adding up to great destruction. Little by little our food supply is dwindling and the price of food is shooting up. These things are not going to improve regardless of what the Liar-In-Chief and his cronies say on television, they are only going to get worse.

God's warnings ended last year and the only thing coming is judgment and destruction. As I have so many times before, I beg you to turn off the idiot boxes, quit spending your days on your computers looking for more "warnings" from false prophets and other deceivers, and turn to the Lord in prayer and spend more time in your bibles. Prayer and the bible are the only sources that will help you prepare for what is coming. Speculating about foolishness like the Illuminati, the New World Order, the Bilderberg Group, the Nephilim, UFOs and aliens is utter nonsense and a complete waste of time - those things are not from the Lord, only from men's foolish imaginations. Spend your time usefully - in prayer and your bibles.

(Yes, there is a Bilderberg Group, it is made up of some of the most successful businessmen in the world, along with several politicians. But its goal is NOT to control the world or even the markets.)

A Stench In God's Nostrils

This is an excerpt from msnbcnews.com. today:

"More than half of Americans say same-sex marriage should be legal, garnering the same rights as traditional marriages, according to a newly released Gallup poll showing for the first time since Gallup began tracking the issue in 1996 support by a majority of Americans."

The  story goes on to say that 53% of Americans now support homosexual and lesbian marriages. This nation has become an absolute stench in God's nostrils! We have become more and more like Sodom and Gomorrah as the years have gone by. And, as in the days of Noah, the people are partying, gorging themselves, turning to their wicked and perverse ways, even encouraged to do so by our evil governmental leaders, especially the president himself.

As we knew he was going to, the Obamination has called for the splitting of Jerusalem. As I said in an earlier message, this is going to cause the worst earthquake this world has ever seen, splitting this nation in two. - and it is coming shortly.

My brothers and sisters the time is very, very short. We are the last generation of this age and we are in the last days. I beg of you to turn to your bibles and turn to your prayer life more and more, they are the only things that will get you through the days ahead. God have mercy on His servants.

Bin Laden Dead

Yes, it is good news that the world's #1 terrorist has been killed and much of the world is rejoicing. Yet there is a great heaviness in my spirit regarding this, a dark and deep forboding that this marks the beginning of the worst terrorist acts that the world has ever seen.

Yesterday, in a comment on my message "Calm Turns To Horror", Lance Libat made this comment "The rollercoaster has inched over the last strut at the top, and the downward plunge in imminent". I believe we reached that point yesterday with the killing of Bin Laden.

Calm Turns To Horror

That was a headline I saw on the news today and it is what is about to shortly happen here in this country. The prophets have warned and warned, but few have listened, few have repented and turned from their wicked and evil ways. The churches don't preach repentance and warning, they don't preach humility, they don't teach love, they have no idea what is about to happen - the sheep's blood will be upon the hands of the shepherds.

The nation as a whole continues to go down the path to destruction, spiritually and financially. There will be no turning back. The Lord has spoken as to what is going to happen and His words will be fulfilled in short order. The calm we are now seeing in the nation will suddenly turn to horror, just as it did when the tornadoes hit the South this past week.

Seek the Lord while He may be found.

David Wilkerson

David Wilkerson died yesterday in a traffic accident in East Texas. David was God's foremost prophet to this nation for almost 40 years. As most prophets, he was rejected, scorned, abused and ridiculed by his own brethren, those who call themselves "Christians". Although David probably got more than his share of rejection because he was God's most visible prophet in this nation.

His most well-known book was "The Cross And The Switchblade", but he also wrote several prophetic books as well - warnings to this nation - the most notable of which were "The Vision", "The Vision And Beyond" and "Set The Trumpet To Thy Mouth". Some of his prophecies have already come to pass but most of them are about to happen soon. As He did with most of His prophets, the Lord called David home before he saw most of his words fulfilled. He now has his well-earned reward. Please pray God's comfort upon his wife and children.

Thank you David and God bless you.

Pray For Our Police

Yesterday in Wisconsin another police officer was shot and killed.Another officer whose spouse, children, parents, brothers and sisters will never see them again. Another family that will mourn their loss.  There seems to be almost an epidemic of the murders of police officers in the last few months with one or two being killed every other day or so. These men and women are out there on the streets to protect each and every one of us, their jobs are not easy. Each and every day they must deal with the basest and most dangerous parts of our society. The abuse they take and put up with is something most of us can't fathom. Their jobs are dangerous and will continue to get more dangerous as violence continues to increase in our nation.

Please keep our police and their families in your prayers. Pray for the protection of the angels of the Lord, for the Lord and His angels are the only ones who can protect them. Please also pray for the families of the slain officers. Thank you.

Time to prepare

Before this time I have not felt led to tell people that the time for preparation is immediate. But after the recent earthquake in Japan I feel the Lord wants me to tell you that IT IS TIME. The time for the beginning of the destruction of the USA is very, very near and if you possibly can, you now need to begin storing up supplies for that time. I feel an urgency in my spirit that I had not felt before. No, there is no reason for fear, this is just the time to begin preparing in earnest.

As I was looking at videos of Japan on my computer the last few days one of the things I noticed was people lining up at grocery stores, waiting to be given a chance to get in and purchase what little was available. I remember David Wilkerson saying in his warning that grocery stores empty in a matter of hours after a major catastrophe. That will happen here when an earthquake splits this nation along the New Madrid Fault - an earthquake that will register over 10 on the Richter Scale and will cause destruction like the world has never seen before. What happened in Japan will seem like a minor tremor compared to what is about to happen here.

How much should you store up? At least 30 days worth, more if you can. Begin making a list of the things you use every day - food, water, toiletries, paper towels, feminine supplies, medical supplies, laundry supplies, candles, flashlights and batteries, etc. These items will be in short supply all over the nation within hours after the quake hits. Electricity will be sporadic in many areas of the nation during that time, so prepare for that the best you can as the Lord leads you.

Not everyone will be able to financially afford to do this - that is where faith comes in.  The Lord will provide for most of us what we need to exist on - most of us, but not all. Some of His people will suffer terribly during this time. Remember Paul's testimony that he was hungry, thirsty, homeless, in rags and poorly treated - that will be the testimony of many of you during the days to come, he that endures to the end will be saved.

The Rapture

When I was raised a Catholic in New Orleans I wasn't taught anything about a "rapture", of course I wasn't taught much about the Bible either. Then, when I was 27 I committed my life to the Lord and began going to Bible studies taught by people who had graduated from Dallas Theological Cemetery (yes, that is a play on words) and going to Bible churches. They all taught that we would be raptured out of here before the Great Seven Year Tribulation Period began. I remember so many people who used to tell me that they were "waiting for the Rapture". They all believed that they would not be going through the Tribulation. They were all lied to.

The Rapture doctrine is a lie. The Bible promises that some of us will, in the last days, be persecuted, imprisoned, tortured, sawn in two and put to death - HE THAT ENDURES TO THE END WILL BE SAVED.

Rev 6: 9-11 - When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. 10 They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” 11 Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters, were killed just as they had been. -   Verse 11 clearly states that many brethren will be killed during this time.

Rev 7:9-179 After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. 10 And they cried out in a loud voice:  “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” 11 All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12 saying: “Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!”
13 Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from?”
14 I answered, “Sir, you know.” And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore, “they are before the throne of God  and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence. 16 ‘Never again will they hunger;  never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat down on them,’  nor any scorching heat. 17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; ‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’ And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’”  -  I don't know how much clearer God can make it that we will not be raptured before the Tribulation.

Rev 2: 10 - Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor’s crown.

Rev 13: 5-10 - The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise its authority for forty-two months. 6 It opened its mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven. 7 It was given power to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. 8 All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world. 9 Whoever has ears, let them hear 10 “If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity they will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword they will be killed.”This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of God’s people.

Rev 14:12-13 - This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of God who keep his commands and remain faithful to Jesus. 13 Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.”    “Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.

Rev 20:4 - I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Hearing the Voice of the Lord

How does God speak to you , to me, to others? I will tell you some of the many ways that He does speak to us, but I don't know all of them. He uses different means for different people.I will relate to you the many ways that He has spoken to me over the years because those I know from personal experience. But these are certainly not all the ways He uses.

The first time He ever spoke to me was on New Years Eve, 1982 through tongues and interpretations that came from an elder and his wife in a church I was attending at the time - it was a message that gave me hope. The next time was through a prophetess whom I didn't know, but who knew of me through someone else. It was a word of comfort, encouragement and was uplifting, I cried when I received it. The next time He spoke to me, and the first time He Himself spoke directly to me, was one morning in my prayers in March of 1983 when He spoke to me through although not an audible voice, it was very clear that He had spoken directly to me. His words were "Exodus 10:1". I opened up my bible to Ex 10:1 and it was God speaking to Moses telling him "Go to the Pharaoh for I have hardened his heart that I might perform these signs and wonders among my people." He was using this verse to tell me that He Himself had hardened the heart of a woman I loved very dearly and wanted to marry. He had His own reasons and purposes for that, but it wasn't her doing - He had hardened her heart.

He spoke to me through prophets several times over the next few months, always words of comfort, encouragement and were uplifting, as well as letting me know some of the things He had planned for my life. Let me throw in something here that is off the topic but extremely important for you to know. If anyone ever comes to you and tells you that they have a word from the Lord for you and that "word" is not comforting, encouraging and uplifting, then it is not from the Lord. If it is troubling to you, it is not from the Lord. In my role as a prophet I can give a rebuke to leaders of churches and ministries or the proud and arrogant, but never to someone who is a humble servant of the Lord. The bible says that the gift of prophecy is for "comfort, encouragement and building up" -  if it is used otherwise, it is used incorrectly.

Over the same period He would speak to me through bible verses, verses that He clearly wanted me to take as His personal direction as well as promises to me, although these were never in an audible voice, I just knew that he was using them to speak to me. He spoke to me simply as I was reading through the bible, I was not looking for anything specific, I was just reading the bible and I knew when a particular verse was something He was using to speak to me. The bible is His personal message to each one of us and it is imperative that we read all of it as much as we can so that He can use different verses to speak to us individually.

Then I remember a period in 1983 when I would be sitting down with a worship album on and just spending time with the Lord. He would begin to speak in a still, small voice, messages which I wrote down. It was certainly not a voice that I could hear, rather it was Him speaking to my mind. It was an awesome thing to know that God is truly a personal God who does want to speak to us individually. That period lasted only a few weeks and it has never happened again.

The way that He speaks to me most often, and the same way He uses for most, is through an impression, a leading, a still small voice. I remember in late 1983 I came home form church and was all ready to watch the playoff game between the Dallas Cowboys and their hated rivals the Washington Redskins. The game was a good game, well into the second quarter, when God said into my spirit "Come worship Me". What!!! But this is an important game!! I've been waiting for this game!!! Nonetheless I turned off the tv and put on a worship album and spent probably two hours with the Lord. When He finally let me turn the tv back on the game was over and the Cowboys had lost!! Talk about disappointed!! I at least thought that He would let my team win!! Obedience does not always bring us the rewards we hope for.

That still, small voice is what He uses to speak to most of us, that and the bible. If you truly want to hear from the Lord you need to be reading His Word and spending time with Him. That means also that you need to put aside your pride and preconceived notions of what God is like and how He does things. He is not going to speak to you upon demand when you think He should and how you think He should, He is going to do it when and how He wants to. If you are not reading the bible regularly you will be missing most of His directions for yourself.

He also speaks to us through dreams and visions. I have had numerous dreams and visions over the years and it was also usually years before He gave me the meanings of them. Although in the past year, especially the last few months, He has given me interpretations of my dreams within a few days or weeks. He always uses others to give me these interpretations. These dreams and visions can be of things that may be about to happen to this nation or other places in the world, to people you know or know of, or people you don't even know yet, or to you individually. Or they may be to help you better understand things that the Lord wants you to know about past events in your lives or to help you better understand he has planned for you in the future. Or they can be used to help you see more clearly things He wants you to know about yourself and others. And He can also use them to confirm things to you.

It has been years since I have heard His voice, years since He has actually spoken to me. Instead He speaks through me as I talk to others and as I sit down to type these messages. How does He guide me then? With His eyes. No, I really can't explain it better than that, but it was what He told me back in 1983 that He was going to do. Sometimes He has spoken to me through others to encourage or give me hope.

There are other ways that the Lord speaks to us that I am not aware of, but I know that some of you are.  So if you'd care to share them in the "Comments" section I know that you will help others to know more ways that the Lord speaks to and guides us.

Trials and Tribulations

This message could also be titled "Waiting Upon The Lord", because it is about all the trials, tribulations and suffering we go through waiting upon the Lord to fulfill His promises to us, to use us as He told many of us that He would. Are you wondering what you're doing wrong to warrant all this suffering? Are you wondering why God is not using you as you thought He would? Are you wondering what you must do to step into the ministry He called you to many years ago? Well, you're not alone.

Today's theology tells you that you have to have enough faith to appropriate all that God has for you.  It tells you that you must cause good things to happen by your positive confession and faith. It tells you that God doesn't want you to suffer, and if you are suffering it is because God is dealing with you about something (translated, that means that God is punishing you for some unknown sin in your life, or a lack of faith). The "great" pastors and teachers will tell you that you have to "step into" the ministry God has called you to, take it by force, make it happen.

My brothers and sisters, those are all lies. Let's look at how God actually does things to those He has called to His service. When Moses was forty years old he knew that he was going to deliver his people from Egypt. But what happened next? He fled Egypt and settled in another country and forgot about being his people's deliverer. Forty years later God called Moses to go back to Egypt and deliver the Lord's people from bondage. What was Moses response? "Not me Lord, I'm too old, I can't speak, etc". Did Moses "appropriate" God's promises to cause him to be his people's deliverer? Nope! Did Moses "have enough faith" to be the Jews' deliverer? Nope. It was certainly nothing that Moses did to cause this to come about, it was what God did regardless of whether Moses wanted it or not.

How about David? When he was eighteen he was anointed as king of Israel by the prophet. Did David go about telling all the people that he was now king of Israel? Did he have enough "faith" to step into the kingship? Did he demand his new position as king? Nope. Instead he served Saul by playing the harp for him. He became a mighty warrior for Israel. He served his king and country well with no intentions of "working his way" onto the throne. While he was being faithful his king began to hate him and tried to kill him, forcing David to flee for his life. He experienced great persecution because of his faithfulness and humility. But thirteen years later when it was God's time, God placed him in the position He chose for David years before. David had intentionally done nothing to cause that to happen. It was something God did to fulfill the word He had spoken to David years before.

Joseph is probably the best example of all. When he was eighteen he had a dream of the sun and moon and eleven stars bowing down to him. We know what happened next, his brothers sold him into slavery. Joseph eventually worked himself into a position of trust and responsibility in Potiphar's house because he served him well and faithfully. Joseph no doubt felt that his years of misery were over. Then Potiphar's wife falsely accuses Joseph and Joseph is put into prison. Can you imagine the bitter disappointment he must have felt, how hurt he was, how painful it must have been, how angry he must have been at being accused falsely?

In prison Joseph is raised up by the :Lord and given great responsibility and authority. He must have been thinking "The Lord is getting ready to take me out of here and vindicate me!" Then the chief cup bearer and the baker have dreams that Joseph interprets for them and he asks the chief cup bearer  to remember him to the king when he gets out of prison. The cup bearer forgets about Joseph when he gets out. Can you imagine how bitterly disappointed Joseph was again, how devastated he was?

Two years later the king has a dream and the cup bearer finally remembers Joseph. At last Joseph is taken out of prison and put as second in command in all of Egypt. He had to wait thirteen years to be vindicated. Then some time later his brothers came to Egypt and eventually his whole family, who do bow down before Joseph as his dream had said. Joseph now knew that God had put him through all that suffering to preserve the remnant of his own people during the difficult times that lay ahead.

God has promised many of us many things for years now. But instead of the fulfillment of those promises, all we've seen have been trials, tribulations, suffering beyond belief, bitter disappointment after bitter disappointment. We've been judged, condemned and rejected by our fellow "Christians" who have no understanding of what God is doing. We've wanted to give up many, many times, but God would not let us.We were told by pastors,  teachers  and "Christians" that God was a good God and He didn't want us to suffer, that He just wanted to bless us. That if we just had enough faith that we could have everything that God wanted us to have. Or, if we would just learn the lesson that God was trying to teach us, then He would take us out of the pit and put us on the mountaintop. We even tried to do some of the things they suggested but found out that it didn't matter what we did, the situation did not change. Bitter disappointment after bitter disappointment after bitter disappointment.

Take heart my brethren because your waiting has not been in vain. God has been testing, trying, maturing, preparing and strengthening us during these times of great suffering. Believe it or nor He has been building our faith and trust in Him to great levels. He has been teaching us to hear His voice and to be led by His Spirit and not by man. He has been preparing us to handle great responsibilities and authority in the near future. He is about to begin fulfilling the specific things He promised us years ago. Moses had to wait forty years, David thirteen years and Joseph thirteen years. I've been waiting twenty-eight years for Him to fulfill even one of the many promises that He made to me back in 1983. But is there any choice other than to wait upon the Lord?

He is preparing many of us to be able to lead those whom the churches and teachers have lied to an misled with all their false doctrines - to lead them to the truth so that they don't lose their faith and thus, their souls during the time of horrors that God is about to unleash upon this nation.  We will lead many to places of refuge and safety, to preserve the holy remnant and prepare them to become the bride of Christ, for He is coming soon!  Some we will help prepare for great persecution, imprisonment, torture and even death because of their faith. What an awesome task and responsibility this will be!  When all is said and done, we will understand what a great thing God has done by sending us through the hell that we have been through.

God's ways are not our ways, neither is His timing our timing. His timing is perfect according to His plan, not our plans. What He requires of us is that we obey Him and wait upon Him.

A Nation of Gluttons

God richly blessed this nation with every blessing under the sun - and we've become a nation of gluttons who have gorged ourselves on every blessing God gave us and many things that God did not give us but rather things that we created ourselves. Over 50% of the people in the USA are overweight, over 30% of them classified as obese or morbidly obese. We have gorged ourselves on the bountiful food supply that the Lord had given us. We have gorged ourselves on every type of alcohol that you can imagine (alcohol in itself is not bad, but the overuse of it is). We have gorged ourselves on illegal drugs: marijuana, cocaine, speed, heroin, etc. This nation uses more illegal drugs than any other nation. We have gorged ourselves on sex. There is more illicit sex now between unmarried people than there has ever been in this nation. There are more pregnancies among unmarried females that there ever have been. There are more murders of unborn children than there ever have been.

We have gorged ourselves on pornography. We have gorged ourselves on clothes. We have gorged ourselves on material possessions. We have gorged ourselves on our own pleasures, whether these be TV, sports, electronic games, movies, etc. We have gorged ourselves on false religious "feel good" doctrines. We have gorged ourselves on more perversions than any other nation. We are a nation of gluttons, a nation out of control by choice.

George Will recently wrote that "American life resembles a giant all-you-can-eat buffet offering calories, credits and intoxicants and other invitations to excess. Americans accept these invitations so promiscuously that bad decisions about smoking, eating and other behaviors account for almost half of US deaths in our losing war with ourselves".

God is sick of it and is very quickly going to put an end to it. Prepare yourselves now to do without most of what we consider to be the "essentials" of life, they are about to come to an end.

In Tom Clancy's latest fiction novel "Dead Or Alive", he says about a mythical President (even though he did not know he was speaking prophetically) "So what happens when a weak man of flawed character is faced with a cascade of catastrophes? He crumbles of course, and with him the nation". So also will Obama, a weak man of flawed character, crumble when God's wrath is poured out upon this nation shortly.

I believe that the catastrophes have already begun with the many deaths caused by the weather and by things like the recent shootings in Tuscon. In June I started a thread which was titled "Catastrophe After Catastrophe". For several months I listed the things that were happening in our nation. Those were just the very beginning. What happened in Tuscon recently, the shooting deaths of six people, was the acceleration of the catastrophes - they will not slow down, only get worse.

God will not protect all His people in the coming years. Many will die during the catastrophes that will be unleashed upon this country. Think very seriously about that - are you ready to meet your Maker? Is your heart ready? Is your lamp lit? I implore you my brothers and sisters to spend as much time as you can in prayer, fasting and reading the Bible. The day of darkness is at hand.
