In August, 2009 I posted a message "In the Eye of the Storm", part of which is reprinted below. As we all know, the economy is still stagnant, unemployment is still high, and banks are still failing at record rates - 140 in 2009, 129 already this year. My brothers and sisters, God has been giving us time to mentally and spiritually get ready for hyperinflation and then the collapse of the American economy. Some of the fortunate ones the Lord is giving the financial resources to prepare for this. Others will have to rely on the Lord for provision. My guess is that hyperinflation will begin late next year and the collapse of the economy in early 2012, but that is only a guess. Only the Lord knows exactly when it will happen. This is a time given to us to spend in the Bible, in prayer and, for those who are able to, in fasting to get ready for what is about to befall this nation. Please make good use of this time we have been given. Lord, please prepare us for what is ahead.
Below is an excerpt from my message last year.
The Eye of the Storm
August 14, 2009
Right now we are in the rather calm eye of the storm. But the worst damage comes after the eye passes and the winds come from the other direction. The first winds of this storm weakened the economic structure in this country, but they didn't destroy it. At this date, there is a relative calm in the economy of this country - it seems to have stabilized and the stock market has rallied. Our politicians and newspapers are declaring that the recession is over and there will be good times ahead. DON'T BELIEVE THEM!!!!
This is just the calm in the eye of the storm. The winds are about to hit us from another direction and they will completely destroy the economy of this country. It is coming very, very quickly. Be prepared to live on virtually nothing. Be prepared to live without many of the conveniences you have today. Be prepared for exorbitant price increases on everything from food, to electricity, to gasoline, to clothes, to just about anything you buy. Hyperinflation is coming very, very quickly.
You must learn to do with much less than you have today. Energy prices will skyrocket to unbelievable levels and many of you will not be able to afford to air-condition or heat your homes. Gasoline prices will be higher than anyone could ever have predicted, be prepared to drive only for essential errands. Food prices will skyrocket and you will be able to afford only the basic necessities. Salaries WILL NOT rise accordingly. Cut back on your expenses and save as much money as you can.

Amen Bro!...we know this very well...my every waking moment I am aware of this...I close my eyes & I can see the destructive winds all around. There is such an urgency in the Spirit in regards to the near future. It is a feeling of impending "doom" that lurks outside in the world. It is waiting for God's timing & then it will come upon this nation & intimately the world. But, those who the Lord has called & have listen & obeyed, have heard His reassuring voice of safety. The Lord has been having me send out a message to pastors this week...a message that does not tickle the ears or stroke the ego. It is a message of preparation for what is ahead.
ReplyDeleteGod's timing is "perfect" & we must adhere to His will for our lives. And He is leading us forward in this world, with an "urgency" of what is coming & we must warn others of what is about to come. For we are entering the last of the last days & He is speaking to us to prepare the people for what is coming. In the next many months, there are going to be some drastic changes to the world & very few are prepared for what will happen. God is speaking to us to "seek His face" now, for this is the only way that we can prepare for the future. Isaiah prophesied:
"You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you: because he trusts in you" (Isaiah 26:3).
God desires that we have our mind "stayed" (sustained, fixed & unmovable) on HIM. Because as we do this, we will be aware of what is going to happen around us, but we will be unmoved. For He always warns His people, as they will listen & hear His voice. For truly, as things get worse, His still small voice will be muted from our hearing, because of the coming distractions of chaos & confusion, unless we stay fixed on Him. (end part 1)
Luk 21:10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
ReplyDeleteLuk 21:11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
Luk 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
Luk 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
The "heart" that He is speaking about here, is NOT the heart that beats in our chest, but it is talking about the heart of FAITH...men's faith will FAIL because of FEAR & for looking at the "things" that are coming on the earth. He said "powers of heaven shall be shaken". We are these powers in Heaven:
Eph 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
Eph 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
Eph 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Those that will not keep their mind "stayed" on Him, will be distracted by fear & the things that are happening on the earth...their faith will fail. God does NOT want this to happen, so He is warning His people to be forewarned & to prepare for this, so that that day will not overtake them as a "thief":
1Th 5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
1Th 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.
1Th 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction comes upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
1Th 5:4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
1Th 5:5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
1Th 5:6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
1Th 5:7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
1Th 5:8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
1Th 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
1Th 5:10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
1Th 5:11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
Before Jesus returns to earth, there is going to be a falling away. This is no escaping this...many are going to fall away from their faith. God wants us to know that the time is short. He is calling His people back to Him. He is speaking 3 messages: repentance, intimacy with Him & true holiness. Basically, all we have need to do is become intimate with Him...because that alone will cause repentance & holiness in us. We do not know exactly when these things will take place, but we know that He has warned us: (end part 2)
2Th 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
ReplyDelete2Th 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2Th 2:4 Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Paul the Apostle explained what was going to happen. He said BEFORE God's people would be "gathered together unto Him", there would be a "falling away".
This is VERY significant, because the Lord has told me that the reason for this falling away was because a great many of believers have been tricked by a false doctrine & this false doctrine will be the cause of their falling away. Obviously there are many other false doctrines deceiving people, but this false doctrine is about the "gathering together unto Him". A great many believers have been taught that they will be "raptured" away from the earth & not have to go through the "Great Tribulation".
And what will happen is, when the rapture does NOT occur, the faith of these people will be broken, because they put their trust in a false hope. These things are already happening. Last year, some pastors said the "rapture" was going to happen on a specific date last year & they declared IF the rapture didn't happen on THAT date, they would NO LONGER follow Jesus. This date came & went & NO rapture happened. So you see, there is a great danger approaching, because God's people are being led astray by something that God never spoke.
It is pure foolishness to accept anything other than what God has already spoken to be truth. Jesus made it VERY CLEAR to us, when the "gathering away" would be:
Mat 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE TRIBULATION....THEN He SHALL send His angels with a great sound of a TRUMPET & they shall GATHER TOGETHER His elect.
The "THEN" is speaking about AFTER the TRIBULATION. The "AND" adds the next sentence to the previous sentence...it is all one thought.
God desires to prepare us for what is ahead. In the coming time, we are going to be part of His remnant that ministers in the great revival that is soon coming (after everything "hits the fan"). When this "urgency" that we are feeling manifests (whatever it turns out to be), the people are going to be confused & in chaos...God will use us to minister to these with great power & authority. (end part 3)
Amen. Keep proclaiming, Brother.
ReplyDeleteFor some time now I’ve had a very heavy burden on my heart concerning how the Church will respond to the return of Jesus. What was the situation when Jesus came the first time? Most of the people (Pharisees, scribes and elders) of that day, in their synagogues and places of worship, were absolutely convinced that they were “in the right” with God Almighty. They were even zealous about their “faith” and devoted much time and energy to their “way of being religious.” So much so that in John 8:39 they argued to Jesus “. . . Abraham is our father,” and in John 8:41 “We were not born of fornication; we have one Father: God.”
But what was the Divine response? John 8:44: “You are of your father, the devil . . .” Just about the entire populace of that day was under a blinding erroneous notion that they were right with God. But, in fact they were not – their hearts were not right with the only actual way to God – Jesus Himself. Their predetermined idiosyncrasies and ideologies overruled their openness to Christ.
THE PARALLEL: Now, what’s going to happen when Jesus returns the SECOND time? Anyone who’s been following true prophetic teachings (such as Cliff) will realize that just about the entire Christiandome Church, especially Western culture, believes they are “in the right” with God Almighty and will argue about it ad nauseam -- doctrine, favorite Bible verses, church culture and all. However, most hearts are not right with JESUS HIMSELF, and most have lost their first love, are lukewarm and do not have that intimate connection with Christ and following His Holy Spirit (just as in Jesus’ first coming).
Furthermore, even the ones that were in the right, the disciples, really did not understand many things until after the fact. Up until Jesus’ resurrection and appearing to them they were expecting a physical kingdom conquest by Jesus, not spiritual. Only until afterwards did they remember the teachings of Jesus and then fully understand His plan of salvation.
THE PARALLEL: What if in Jesus’ second coming some things may take us true Believers by surprise? Perhaps things we were taught all our lives, concepts and doctrines we took for granted, patterns and timings of events that we always “understood was the way it was supposed to happen.” But in reality we may not fully understand everything we will be seeing and experiencing until after the fact and when Jesus decides to open our eyes to some things.
This is a very significant and serious weight on my heart. We must be ready to blindly follow what the Lord is telling us as we go, impromptu, both in Sprit and through the Bible. Just as the disciples did not understand what was happening at the time they still followed Jesus and everything He said to the end, and eventually it all made sense. So we, too, must be ready to lay aside any preconceived notions, personal convictions, open and amenable to correction and instruction from our Lord, and following Him with “blind faith” to the end. Just as most missed Jesus in the first coming because of hardness of heart and insensitivity to the His leading, we don’t want to miss His second coming as well. We must be vigilant and have an open heart to Him and be very sensitive to the leading of His Spirit and His Word.
