Internet Scams

As many of you know, recently my e-mail addresses were hacked and were used to send out spam e-mails. This morning I received an e-mail from someone I knew telling me that they were stranded in London and needed me to send them money so that they could get home, giving me an international telephone number to call. This is not the first one of this type e-mail I have received and I'm sure it will not be the last. It is a scam.

It got me to thinking that whoever hacked my e-mail address book might also try to use my name to claim that I am in some foreign country and need money to get home. If you get an e-mail like that DO NOT CALL OR SEND MONEY to the thief. If you get any type of e-mail with my name of it asking for money it will be a scam because I do not ask for money from anyone on my blog list. So be careful my brothers and sisters, there are many thieves out there doing whatever they can to steal your money.
