Light in the Darkness

"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness does not understand it." John 1:5

Many of us have been trying to warn our brothers and sisters-in-the-Lord about what is coming upon this nation. We have tried to warn the churches about what is coming. We have been rejected, laughed at, scorned and ridiculed, argued with and have been looked down upon with contempt.  Few have listened to the message. Few will be prepared for what is coming, only the humble and meek of heart.

The light, the Holy Spirit, has been trying to shine in the darkness, the dead churches, but they have not understood it. The Light has been trying to shed light upon what is about to be poured out upon this country, but the darkness refuses to believe the warnings.

We've done what we can and, thank the Lord, some have listened. But the time is at hand when the warnings will cease. The time is at hand when great calamity upon calamity upon calamity will be poured out upon this nation and its people, the Lord's wrath will no longer be delayed.

This is a message that I drafted in early December, but the Lord would not let me publish it until today. That tells me time is very, very short, judgment is at hand.

  1. Cliff,
Thanks for posting this warning, but I am afraid nobody is going to listen that has not already taken heed. I am weary of warning loved ones and neighbors. Many scoff and consider me "Mr. Gloom and Doom". It is a wonderful thing to witness the grace and mercy of our LORD as he gives much time to prepare, though many pay no mind. I will keep warning and preaching repentance. GOD bless .... Steve

  2. Steve, I think the Lord's purpose in this was to let those who have listened know that the time for warnings is coming to an end. They have been faithful in warning others, but most have not listened, and the ones who have been warning have grown frustrated and tired - the Lord has grown weary of warning upon warning upon warning and few are listening. Therefore, His judgment is now at hand. Be strong in the faith my brother and the Lord be with you and your family.

  3. Dear Mr. Hilbert,
I have kindof "felt" the same way. Sometimes the only thing left is the LORD's mighty voice and hand. And it's kind of like, if you are not in the ark now, well...

  4. Dee, your comment about "If you are not in the ark now, well" was from the Holy Spirit, it has deep, deep spiritual meanings. The door to the ark is closing, and those who are not in it will be destroyed.

  5. A sobering but good word as always. Because sin and iniquity abounds in our country, America has truly reached the place of Jeremiah 11:14:

“Therefore do not pray for this people, or lift up a cry or prayer on their behalf, for I will not listen when they call to me in the time of their trouble."

  6. It's very much like the days of the 1st prophets that were sent to the people of Israel over and over, but they were not listened too either. What happened? Destruction, death, captivity, and dispersion. It's sad that man has to go through all these things when God just asks us to believe in His Son and obey His commandments, very simple, and for our benefit!! May those who have heeded the voice of the Lord continue to prepare their souls for the Bridegroom and let us continue to pray for the lost, family, and friends to wake up while their is still time.

  7. The odd thing is that there are adamant non-believers who grasp that this nation will not endure much longer; Yet, realizing this, still they will not repent.

  8. Cliff,
Could this time also be the begining of the mark of the beast? The spiritual mark of a mans soul that he is not for the LORD? I often wonder this because my own son will not repent and the LORD told my husband and I to 'let him go'. At first I had a sick feeling about it because I love that kid, but at the same time not even for him will I turn from the LORD. I am often in awe of how some many things can be happening in our world at once, and how so much is prophetic Scripture coming to pass and how arrogant people can still be?
